Do you work with insurance?
No – I am considered an out of network provider for all insurances as I currently offer cash based only therapy. This allows me to focus my time and energy providing the best possible services to you. If requested, I am able to provide a Superbill to submit to your insurance. You may wish to contact your insurance company ahead of time to determine what your out of network occupational therapy benefits are.
Where is your clinic located?
I truly believe in the importance of empowering the family unit – as such, I have made the decision to provide services in the natural environment, the home. I am currently able to provide services in the Round Rock/Cedar Park area – if you live outside of these area, reach out to check whether online CG training might be a good option for you.
What is Occupational Therapy?
“Pediatric occupational therapy helps children improve their ability to do everyday activities and meet developmental milestones. Occupational therapy provides support for both physical and social-development needs. Parent education and continuous practice are important parts of the treatment process. Common treatments include working on feeding skills, developmental milestones, social skills, fine motor skills or hand-eye coordination”. (John Hopkins Medicine)
What diagnosis do you work with?
Your child does not need to have a formal diagnosis to be able to benefit from OT. Together with you, the caregivers, we will form a “functional profile” of your child using standardized and non standardized tools and together we’ll decide what will be the functional goals that will be addressed during the OT process (this is part of the OT assessment). I have extensive experience working with different diagnosis such as ASD, SPD, ADHD, Dyspraxia, fine motor delay and more.
